Jaded by the dreams I once thought
Were true but I guess I'm dead wrong
Back now for the third time around
Things are getting harder, getting real
I can't feel the same way for the fortunate
The way I used to
I fucking call it quits.
This is a song for the ignorant
Living in a sea of fucking hypocrites
I hope you see what this has done to me
All of those pity years and fucking apathy.
It's so easy to identify
First I'll use the ricen
Then I'll cut you into pieces
And I'll stuff you in a barrel with the hydrofluoric acid
Soon you'll dissolve, and just like that
All of my minor problems will be solved.
Constellations are consuming
Often wrong but never gloomy
This is a song for the ignorant
Blinded in a sea of fucking hypocrites
I hope you see what this has done to me
All of those pity years and fucking apathy.
Euthanize her establishment
Euthanize your establishment
Before It's all too late
What did you come here for
Why are you back here now, yeah.
I saw you, you saw me
No time to run, nor time to flee
I came in bruised and sore
Revenge is my belated whore
Fuck.
You asked for distance,
And that's what I'm trying to give to you
Nonsense and all the hell you put me through
Now your bedroom’s a homicide scene
A front cover in a magazine.
That night I kicked down your door
And spilled your blood on the floor
The way you provoke
It's like you're always begging for more
I can't sleep knowing you're gone
I can't sleep knowing you're dead
The voices in my head said go home and write this song instead.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
