Where's your maker
Take this beast far away
He is nothing but a pawn in your game
We're exiled
We are forced here to leave
Eternal punishment, benighted reprieve.
Now, the angry mob is here for me
It's time for the final test
How do I escape swiftly
Without killing the rest
Digging the holes
Digging the holes for us to sleep
They're digging the holes
Digging the holes for us to sleep in.
Rot
Beneath
Submit to pressure
The decadence slowly unwinds
Aestheticism towards your values
Clearly they decline
To rate the source, of one's mortality
A lesson learned, my skies forsaken me.
This desperation it grows
My skies forsaken me
It tears my limbs and my soul
Now prepare this eulogy
Let's go
Bury me six feet under below
Bury me six feet under below.
Withered, tarnished, and tired
Without a chance I'm inquired
To suffocate in this man-made hell.
Oh, they have forsaken me
On my last breath
Pick a god and pray for mercy
No, I am one with the soil
I'll replenish all those who have died before me.
Impaired believers
Ignite deceivers greed
Rise from the rubbish
Now, when I live and die
Though modern times
The act of resurgence is continuing on
I live, I die
Through modern times
The act of resurgence is continuing on.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
